On Monday, June 27, 2005, at 2:33 PM, the Gainesville Police Department received a 911 call from the victim, Phillip “Brian” Sweat advising he had just been stabbed. Before going unconscious, he told dispatch his attacker was a B/M, wearing a long sleeve blue shirt. Sweat was stabbed in his front yard, 4024 SW 38th St (near Archer Road and Interstate-75). His house was at the end of a secluded cul-de-sac, but backed up to several cheap hotels (Motel 6, Ramada, etc). Sweat drove a newer, red, Toyota Spider convertible, which was still parked in his driveway. Contact information: Detective M. 2015-11-26 18:25:34 - Manar: I have daytona beach poilce in a serious lie. On poilce report they told the homeowners kid if we say he broke the door you all can get a new door. They did. They originally triedvto write it up as burglary of an occ dwelling. 2 counts of it. I take it very serious when poilce hype up a report trying to put 2 PBL S ON ME .Ive been everywhere state atty . Police internal. Public defender. Trying to get my evidence they say its gone ..im vrry vrry vrry frustrsttratedNeed guidance.Gonna take it bsck in for post conviction relief.
