The Tarpon Springs Police Department and the Pasco County Sheriff's Office are investigating the disappearance of Michael W. Allan. Mr. Allan (W/M 04/16/53) has been missing since November of 1997. He was last seen leaving his workplace which was a Dodge dealership in Brooksville, Florida on 10/31/97. Investigation revealed that he was en route to meet with his ex-wife, and her husband, to pick up his son. The ex-wife is the mother of this child. According to Mr. Allanís ex-wife, he never arrived at the pre-determined meeting place in Tampa and he has not been heard from or seen since. No activity has been detected in Mr. Allanís financial accounts to date. Mr. Allanís 1989 red Dodge Daytona was recovered on Nov. 25, 1997 in Tarpon Springs. Evidence recovered from the vehicle indicates that Mr. Alanís disappearance is suspicious and foul play is suspected. Mr. Allan remains a missing person. Please contact Det.
